Social Justice Advocacy Groups

The NM Center on Law and Poverty (Click here to link to their website) is one of the most effective organizations advocating for the poor and working families in New Mexico. They live up to their Mission Statement “…to advance economic and social justice through education, advocacy, and litigation. We work with low-income New Mexicans to improve living conditions, increase opportunities, and protect the rights of people living in poverty.” 


New Mexico Voices For Children (Click here to link to their website) is committed to their Mission “…to improve the status, well-being and racial/ethnic equity of New Mexico’s children, families, and communities in the areas of health, education, and economic security by promoting public policies through credible research and effective advocacy.”


The ACLU (Click here to link to their website) is respected world-wide for its Mission “to protect and advance justice, liberty, and equity as guaranteed by the constitutions of New Mexico and the United States.
