State Museums in Santa Fe Extend Hours of Operation

DCA Extends Days and Hours of Operation at State-Run Museums in Santa Fe

The New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) announces that days and hours of operation will be extended at state-run museums in Santa Fe. Beginning on Saturday, May 1, 2021, the New Mexico History Museum (NMHM), New Mexico Museum of Art (NMMOA), and Museum of International Folk Art will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.

The Museum of Indian Arts & Culture will keep these same hours and days of operation when it re-opens to the public on May 16.

Additionally, starting May 7 both NMHM and NMMOA will extend hours of operation to 7 p.m. on Fridays through October. As in the past at these museums, admission will be free to New Mexico residents between the hours of 5 and 7 p.m.
